With a proven track record for launching new businesses, leading revenue and audience growth, driving business transformation and turnarounds, and creating innovative B2C & B2B products, Jason's career includes experience at Thomson Reuters, Time Warner, Columbia University, News Corporation, PBS, and others.
Jason's inspirational, creative, and empowering leadership has led him to manage large (180+) and small teams across multiple time-zones and around the world with his KPI, data-driven approach and focus on balancing short-term wins against larger strategic goals.
Carol Lappin has been with Consumer Reports, an independent nonprofit member organization that works side by side with consumers for truth, transparency and fairness in the marketplace, for over 20 years. Carol is the General Manager of Shopping and Business Development where she leads CR's affiliate program, content distribution partnerships, and other various licensing revenue streams. She began building CR's successful Shopping program in 2009, and together with her amazing team has delivered double-digit revenue growth each year since. Carol has spent her entire career in media, spanning from book publishing to magazines and then digital, with brief stints sprinkled in between in advertising serving media clients and at a digital media start-up in the early days of the Internet.
