Ethan is a senior solution engineer with IBM’s Watson Advertising and Weather Company business units. He’s been with IBM for five years – specializing in digital media workflow and automation. Ethan’s background is unique, in that he was a field producer for CBS News and several local television and radio stations before moving into management and ultimately specializing in emerging media platforms and delivery.
Today Ethan is the go-to person for applying AI and AI-based solutions to media workflows and to media business to increase productivity and monetization. His background allows him to easily work across diverse groups in large and small companies and create solutions that help his customers reach their business needs.
Before joining IBM, Ethan was an original hire for Verizon Digital Media Services where he worked with national media brands to move production workflows to cloud-based solutions. He has also been Director of Mobile Product for CBS News Mobile.
Throughout all of this experience – Ethan has learned to adapt technology to meet current and emerging needs of media companies, increase the ability to deliver and monetize content to consumers and manage change so it does not overwhelm a business unit.
