Emma Vaughn is Global Head of Advertising Business Development and Partnerships at Spotify, the world’s most popular audio streaming platform. She joined Spotify in 2021 and oversees employees across the world specializing in deal execution, publisher solutions, partner strategy and partner operations. In her role, Emma utilizes global advertising trends to ensure audio and culture are at the forefront of all of Spotify’s advertising partnerships and deals. With over 271 million active users, Spotify’s ad revenue plays a formidable role in fueling the engine of the company’s popular Free experience globally.
Prior to joining Spotify, Emma served as SVP Business Development and Partnerships at NBCUniversal, where she led distribution deals for the company’s streaming service Peacock as well as the partnerships across connected TVs and social. She was also responsible for diversifying the company’s digital revenue streams and managing the relationships across all the AVOD platforms.
Emma graduated from Stanford University and earned her MBA from Columbia University. She resides in New York with her husband.
