Leon is Head of Product and Client Services for The MediaGrid, IPONWEB's supply, curation and monetization platform.
Leon is responsible for supporting digital media companies maximize their programmatic and curated direct revenue, develop custom media solutions, and activate their audience and data strategy.
Prior to joining IPONWEB, Leon most recently led Sales and Commercial Strategy, and currently acts as Board Adviser at Carbon, a start-up next generation Revenue Management Platform, enabling digital media publishers to develop and activate their first-party and contextual audience data. Previously, Leon held a number of senior positions at some of the leading digital media technology companies, including: Right Media / Yahoo!, the Rubicon Project (now Magnite), Quaero, District M, and OpenX, heading US and then EU sales and commercial strategy. Leon was also co-founder at LiftDNA, the SSP technology platform which invented early header bidding before its acquisition by OpenX in 2012.
Leon earned his Honors BA in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Canada, and attended Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien in Vienna, Austria, as part of the International MBA program.
