Scout Richards joined NowThis in 2016. Currently, she is the supervising producer of the vertical team, a group of 10 producers and editors who create news content for TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Google Stories, and YouTube shorts. Scout oversaw the launch of the NowThis main TikTok account in late 2019, and has remained at the helm as it has grown to 5.5 million followers today. Under her leadership, NowThis' three TikTok channels have 9 million total followers. Scout lives in Seal Beach, California with her husband, two dogs, and one-year-old son.
