Matt Kent is a competition policy advocate with Public Citizen. Prior to joining Public Citizen, he was a Government Affairs Associate specializing in transportation policy at a maritime trade association and a lobbyist for various non-profit associations on a wide range of legislative and regulatory issues. During college and law school Matt spent time on Capitol Hill as an intern and legislative fellow, and worked in state-level political fundraising. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Marist College and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.
