Monica Sharma is a dynamic media and business development executive with 20 years of experience driving growth, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence across media, entertainment, publishing, and technology. Known for her ability to connect strategy with execution, Monica has consistently served as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders, helping organizations unlock new revenue streams, build valuable partnerships, and turn insights into action. Monica is currently Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships at News Corp and plays a key role in forging high-impact strategic partnerships and shaping News Corp's role with various distribution, technology, and AI partners.

Previously, Monica was Head of Video Business Development at Amazon Kids+/Prime Video. In that role, Monica led content acquisitions and negotiated multi-million dollar licensing, development, and production deals, expanding the platform’s content library across multiple formats and business models. Prior to Amazon, Monica held several leadership roles at ViacomCBS (now Paramount), including Head of Strategy and Business Development for Nickelodeon International. Earlier in her career, Monica worked at iHeartMedia and began her career as a management consultant.

Monica holds an undergraduate degree in business from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in marketing and finance, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
