Sam Felix is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at CNN Worldwide, where she is responsible for cultivating and expanding CNN's commercial and strategic partnerships with key technology platforms, industry leaders and trade organizations.

Sam is responsible for developing new revenue streams by leveraging CNN's assets and coordinating the enterprise strategy for CNN's global AI initiatives. Her efforts focus on enhancing CNN's capabilities and aligning with market opportunities to drive growth and innovation.

Felix is a seasoned leader in partnerships and business development, with over 15 years of experience in audience strategy and product development within digital media companies. Most recently, she was the VP of Platform Strategy and Partnership at The New York Times, where she led executive and enterprise initiatives with platforms and partners, supporting efforts with new technologies and spearheading a comprehensive AI approach.

Prior to her role at The New York Times, Felix held various editorial and audience-focused positions at digital-native companies such as Thrive, Mic, Thrillist, and Meta. She played a significant role in developing and managing strategic partnerships and audience leadership initiatives.

She holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Chapman University. Felix is based in CNN's New York bureau.
