Cristóbal Valenzuela is the CEO and co-founder of Runway, an applied AI research company shaping the next era of art, entertainment and human creativity. Before Runway, Cris was a researcher at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Under the leadership of Cris, the Runway team has developed a creative suite with more than 30 AI Magic Tools that allow users to generate and edit content, serving every aspect of the creative process. Runway’s customers include academy nominated movies (like Everything Everywhere All At Once), TV shows, media companies, and creatives across industries. Cris has a graduate degree in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University, where he met his two co-founders to build the next generation of creative tools.
