In this role Steve has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of the transformation and unification of the entire Paramount advertising team since the merger of CBS, CBS interactive, and Viacom. Steve also oversees the development and go to market strategy of Paramount Ad Manager, a self-serve platform that provides SMBs access to Paramount’s EYEQ streaming inventory.
Prior to Paramount, Steve was the Founder and CEO of WHOSAY, the original influencer and social marketing company, founded in 2009. WHOSAY was instrumental in establishing the marketplace for the enormous Creator segment among agencies and brands. Paramount acquired WHOSAY in Jan 2018.
Prior to WHOSAY, Steve was founder and CEO of Pump Audio, a US-based music licensing company that created a new marketplace for independent artists and their music for placement in TV, advertising, video games and film. Pump Audio was acquired by Getty Images in June 2007.
Steve Ellis is originally from England but moved to the USA in 1988 to attend the Wharton School of Business, where he earned a BSC in Economics and Management.
