Angela “Angie” Grande is Director of Streaming News Channels for NBCUniversal Local. She was named to this role in late 2021 after working for NBC News for nearly four years in Producer roles with increasing responsibility including Executive Producer for NBC News’
Stay Tuned Snapchat program. At NBC News, she grew Stay Tuned from its infancy to a news source for digital-first consumers with nearly 11 million subscribers. Grande helped evolve the brand to produce Gen Z-focused content for other social media platforms and NBC News properties.

At NBCUniversal Local, Grande is charting the launch of NBC and Telemundo owned stations’ new local news channels for streaming platforms.

Before working at NBC News, Grande worked at NBC 4 New York / WNBC for seven years as content producer and producer of the station’s 5pm newscast. Before this, she held news producer roles at TV stations in New York including WRBG Albany, WTVH Syracuse and WKTV Utica. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Utica University.

Grande is a National Emmy Award winner for “Breaking News Coverage” for WNBC’s extensive coverage of Superstorm Sandy. She is also the recipient of two Edward R. Murrow Awards for her journalistic work at WNBC and a New York regional Emmy Award winner for WNBC’s coverage of the Boston Marathon Bombing. Her alma mater, Utica University, honored her with the Raymond Simon Institute’s Outstanding Alumna Award in 2020 to recognize her successful career in broadcasting.
