Nada Arnot is the Executive Vice President of marketing for The Economist, guiding the brand through its next phase of expansion, driving market presence, and helping the publisher grow its consumer and corporate subscriptions worldwide.

Before her role at The Economist, Nada worked as Senior Vice President and Head of Group Marketing Services for BritBox, an online digital video subscription service. At BritBox, Nada managed a team of more than 30 marketing and creative professionals. She was responsible for increasing paying subscribers from 1.7M to over 3M in less than two years, as well as creating a clear brand positioning to drive growth in the short and long term.

Before BritBox, Nada Arnot held leadership positions across various companies, including AMC Networks, Hearst Magazines, Kaplan Test Prep, NBC Universal and Ruder Finn/Binder PR. As a professional with more than 20 years of experience driving transformational growth, building memorable brands, and leading high-performing data-driven teams, she has a reputation for delivering innovative marketing solutions and empowering and hiring top-performing talent.

Arnot began her career as a Policy Strategist for the Government of Canada, providing strategic advice on immigration and employment policy. She later founded TheFunkyStork.com and DailyStroke.com, building two revenue-generating websites for expectant fathers/new dads and surfers.

Nada received her Masters of Public Administration, Strategy and Analysis from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Philosophy from the University of British Columbia. She has served as a Television Academy member (2017-20) and has been recognized by Cynopisis Media USA, receiving the 2018 “Top Women in Digital Award.”
